"I got involved in the Foodbank once my wife Sarah had to return to work in a primary school. I decided to cover the shifts that she had been doing for Fran, Clare and the team. It has been a fantastic experience. At a time when everything is so stressful, it has been brilliant to know that what you are involved in really makes a difference. The experience has also made me think how lucky I am. However hard it may seem, there are people in a far more vulnerable position than us that we can help. Please continue supporting us with your amazing generosity"
Through my life there have been many times when people have helped me...... from those people I have learnt to say “how can I help?”
For me, St Margaret s food bank was the obvious choice. It is a wonderful community based project underpinned by our basic human responsibility to help and share with others.
